Accutech Packaging Buyer Map

Gerry | Accutech Packaging | November 2026

As of 04 Nov 2026

Accutech Packaging designs and builds custom packaging systems and complete packaging lines, and supplies the packaging materials that run on them, for fulfillment, food processing and general manufacturing.

This map covers plants with their own packaging lines in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois and the six New England states, and the people who usually sign off on a new line or a line upgrade at each.

Counts appear only where a public industry code fits the whole group, and each is a US total. Where no clean code fits, the page says so.

Where the buyers sit

Food plants come first, as the work Accutech Packaging describes on its own site. Each count is a national total of employer firms, shown banded.

Food and beverage plants

The core group for packaging lines in these states.

A food or beverage plant buys a new line when volume grows, when a new pack format launches, or when a retailer changes its case and pallet specs. Labor is the other trigger, since case packing, sealing and palletizing are often the hardest shifts to staff.

Operations owns the line and the output target, engineering owns the spec, and procurement runs the bids. A new line or a large upgrade usually needs all three to agree.

RoleWhat they weigh
Director of OperationsLine uptime, output per shift, labor on the packing floor
Packaging Director or ManagerPack formats, material use, changeover time between products
Packaging or Manufacturing EngineerMachine spec, fit with the existing line, integration and controls
Procurement or Purchasing DirectorTotal cost of the line, materials supply, number of suppliers

Contract packagers and co-packers

Co-packers run many products for many brands on shared lines, so changeover speed and flexible equipment decide how much work they take on. They buy often, and they buy for the next customer contract as much as for today.

The plant or operations lead usually decides, with the owner signing the larger lines.

Personal care and household goods plants

Beauty, personal care and household plants pack many small units into cartons and shippers, with seasonal peaks and frequent new launches. Packaging engineering carries more weight here, since the pack is part of the product.

Where to start

Lead with the whole line

Plants in these groups judge a packaging project by output per shift and the labor it frees. Opening with a complete line designed around their product speaks to operations and engineering in the same conversation.

Pair the materials with the machine

A plant that buys a line from Accutech Packaging also needs the film, tape, cartons and corrugated that run on it. Offering both from one supplier gives procurement a reason to join the first conversation.

Start close to home in Massachusetts

Gold Medal Bakery and Ken's Foods both sit in Massachusetts, a short drive from Accutech Packaging. A line walk at the plant is an easy first meeting to ask for.

Built from public federal registries and the company's own website, counts banded deliberately.
